This Veterans program is focused on preparing transitioning service members and spouses for their next careers in operations or IT. Participants become official Syracuse University students and receive non-credit certificates upon completion. Where applicable, the program will pay the graduate’s associated exam fees for industry certification.
The Veterans Career Transition Program, operated by the Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University, is delivered at no cost to post-9/11 veterans, their spouses, and spouses of active duty military. Paid for in entirety by a grant from JPMorgan Chase & Co
JANUARY SESSION INFORMATION
Application Deadline*: Dec. 9
Courses Start: January 21
The Veterans Career Transition Program runs four times every year (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct). While there is a competitive admissions process, we have a lot of seats! Requirements for admission include:
> Must have served at least one day on active duty after September 11
> If currently on active duty, must be transitioning out of the service within 18 months of the start of the session.
> Must have a high school diploma or GED
> Must be able to give 20 hours per week to complete the coursework for the duration of the program
> Must have reliable access to high-speed internet
