From Combat Boots To Business Suits: Helping U.S. Military Veterans Transition
NS2 Serves is now accepting applications for the next class which begins on May 21st, 2018 in San Antonio Texas.
NS2 Serves™ is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established by SAP National Security Services, Inc. to give back to the community it serves by training and employing veterans in high-tech careers. The course is open to post-9/11 U.S. military service veterans and reservists (including disabled veterans), service members with orders to leave active duty, and Gold Star spouses who meet certain eligibility requirements.
As its signature initiative, NS2 Serves is offering training and employment assistance to those who have served our nation. The fulltime course offers participants training in world-class software solutions that support U.S. national security needs and commercial enterprises. The training leads to certifications that are valuable in many career paths worldwide.
Who Can Apply?
– Impending or honorably discharged post-9/11 veterans,
who have left service in the last seven years and have a
high-school diploma or GED
– Gold Star spouses who meet the same education
and experience requirements
– Must live within 45 miles of the Accenture office in San
Antonio where the course is being held. NS2 Serves is
not responsible for mileage.
What’s In It For The Trainees?
– Training courses in SAP solutions geared for U.S.
national security missions, leading to certifications
that are valuable in many career paths
– NS2 Serves will cover course-related expense such as
textbooks, ebooks, laptops, etc.
-Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
-NS2 Serves is not responsible for the following expenses:
room and board, mileage, or meals outside the classroom.
What’s The Program?
During the intensive three-month course, trainees report
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and gain
-Access to an exclusive job fair with potential employers
and additional job placement assistance
– Presentation and communication skills
– Extensive training and certification in SAP HANA, SAP
Data Services and SAP Business Objects Web
Intelligence. Trainees learn modeling and data
management – how to model, extract, load, analyze and
report on data in ways that prepare them for careers as a
business analyst, BW technology, consultant or business
– Design thinking – how to develop creative ideas
to address business challenges

process changes and decisions
– Solution “super users” who are qualified to manage
key business processes
