Caliber Collision Offering Free Training To Veterans
Changing Lanes: Restoring Rhythm To Military Service Members’ Lives
The military trains their personnel for many situations that they might encounter during their time deployed or on base. However, there is one scenario that can be hard to adjust to: life after the military.
Caliber Collision has created a program to help these transitioning service members and veterans adjust to their new lives. Changing Lanes is an employment program for military personnel transitioning to civilian life.
It is an 18-week program that they offer to our military to train them to become auto body and collision repair techs. The programs are located in Fayetteville, NC and Killeen, Tx., with more locations expected to come soon.
This program is free and participants receive a job with Caliber Collision after graduation.
First-year graduates can expect to make 40-45K a year and A-level technicians (working 4-5 years) earn an average of 85K/year.
