Shouldn’t every day be Veterans Day?
This holiday, which is traditionally celebrated at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11 to symbolize the time when World War I ended (the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month), is a chance for Americans to pay their respects to the millions of those who have served.
While it’s great to recognize our veterans for their service, we should also remember that respect and appreciation for all who make the sacrifice shouldn’t be limited to a single day but every day! Instead, we should use Veterans Day as a reminder that it’s important to always be cognizant of the immense sacrifices our men and women make in the name of this great country.
Happy Veterans Day to all who have served, continue to serve and for all of those who have perished for this great country!
